NYC Week of FUN

Our Bay Area Week of Fun was a huge success so we're taking this show on the road. Sure we'll be networking and whatnot, but most importantly, we're setting ourselves up for as many laughs as we can fit into the week because we all work hard and we've earned a brain break.  

We know we need to lock in some of these reservations early: if you end up not being able to make a commitment, you're welcome to pass on your spot to someone else, just let us know who to expect.

Events are open to everyone, not just WeCANers. Our only screening criterion is that you bring your desire to laugh.

Fri., Oct. 17 at 7:00-10:00pm:  Games Night @  The Uncommons Register 

Games niiiiiight. Come play with us at The Uncommons in Greenwich Village. We need to make a paid reservation by September 17, so please register ASAP to let us know you're coming. At $20pp for 3 hours, the venue will book out so help us lock in our fun early.

Sat., Oct. 18 at 9:30-11:30am: Urban Hike @ High Line Register

Meet on the High Line at the Gansevoort Street entrance at the southern end of the park. You may enter the park via stairs or elevator at the corner of Gansevoort and Washington Streets. Register to let us know you're coming! 

Sun., Oct. 19 at 2:00pm: an afternoon @ the Museum of Broadway Register

Buy your entry ticket here and meet us at the Museum of Broadway.  We can head out for happy hour after, if there's appetite to do so. Feel free to bring a friend or three.  Register to let us know you're coming! 

Mon., Oct. 20 at 7:00pm:  Crazy Golf @ Swingers NOMAD Register

Join us for a round at Swingers NOMAD. Tucked beneath the streets of NYC, be transported to a world of verdant, undulating crazy golf courses, a 1920s English golf clubhouse, cocktail bars and gourmet street food vendors.

Tues., Oct. 21 at 6:40pm: Drunk Shakespeare Register

The Drunk Shakespeare Society presents Drunk Dracula. Five professional actors. One nominated drunk. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track.  We will organize tickets for the first 10 ppl registered, or on October 10, whichever comes first.

Wed., Oct. 22 at 6:00-8:00pm: Happy Hour hosted by SIAN at Sagaponack Register

Hosted by the Social Impact Advisor Network (SIAN), a network of purpose-driven experts to help nonprofits and social impact organizations to thrive.  Fairlight Advisors, co-founded by our very own Katharine Earhart and her partner, Maya Lis Tussing, is a proud founder and sponsor of SIAN, and they have generously extended an invite to our WeCAN audience to join.  

Thurs., Oct. 23 at 8:00pm: Dinner @ TBC Register

Join us for a family-style dinner *somewhere*.  Here's our challenge: we can't make a reso without numbers and it's hard to get numbers without a reso... it's a chicken and egg nightmare. 😶 SO please help us out by registering your interest. We'll target a restaurant with family style options, catering to all dietary preferences and restrictions, with a price range between $60 - $100 per person.
