Our Bay Area Week of Fun was a huge success so we're taking this show on the road. Sure we'll be networking and whatnot, but most importantly, we're setting ourselves up for as many laughs as we can fit into the week because we all work hard and we've earned this.  

Come join us for seven events in seven days: come for one or all, and everyone is welcome. This week isn't about WeCAN, it's about building inclusive networks and community - and maybe making some new friends - in a low risk, low cost environment. 

DAY 1: Cocktail Hour @  Beauty & Essex Register 

Friday, October 17 at 6:30-8:00pm

Past the pawn shop, down the circular staircase and take a left at the chandelier stands Beauty & Essex’s decadent lounge, cocktail bars (2!) and dining rooms (4!). Join us for a drink and/or nibbles to kick off the weekend.  We'll keep this evening intimate and limited to 6-8 people. 

DAY 2: Urban Hike @ High Line Register

Saturday, October 18 at 9:30-11:30am 

Meet on the High Line at the Gansevoort Street entrance at the southern end of the park. You may enter the park via stairs or elevator at the corner of Gansevoort and Washington Streets. Register to let us know you're coming! 

DAY 3:  An Afternoon @ the Museum of Broadway Register

Buy your entry ticket here and meet us at the Museum of Broadway.  We can head out for happy hour after, if there's appetite to do so. Feel free to bring a friend or three.  Register to let us know you're coming! 

DAY 4:  Crazy Golf @ Swingers NOMAD Register

Monday, October 20 at 7:00pm

Join us for a round at Swingers NOMAD. Tucked beneath the streets of NYC, be transported to a world of verdant, undulating crazy golf courses, a 1920s English golf clubhouse, cocktail bars and gourmet street food vendors.

DAY 5: Drunk Shakespeare Register

The Drunk Shakespeare Society presents Drunk Dracula. Five professional actors. One nominated drunk. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track.  Please register to get the discount code.

DAY 6: Happy Hour hosted by SIAN at Sagaponack Register

Wednesday, October 22 from 6:00 - 8:00pm

Hosted by the Social Impact Advisor Network (SIAN), a network of purpose-driven experts to help nonprofits and social impact organizations to thrive.  Fairlight Advisors, co-founded by our very own Katharine Earhart and her business partner (and WeCAN LP), Maya Lis Tussing, is a proud founder and sponsor of SIAN, and they have generously extended an invite to our WeCAN audience to join.  

DAY 7: Dinner @ TBC Register

Thursday, October 23 from 8:00pm

Join us for a family-style dinner *somewhere*.  Here's our challenge: we can't make a reso without numbers and it's hard to get numbers without a reso... it's a chicken and egg nightmare. 😶 SO please help us out by registering your interest. We'll target a restaurant with family style options, catering to all dietary preferences and restrictions, with a price range between $60 - $100 per person.

WeCAN is not a traditional VC firm and we've kept our costs lean to enable lower barriers to participation. With that context, note that everyone will need to pay their own way. Please be prepared with cash or Venmo details.
